Canadian small-cap equities roundtable

Canadian small-cap stocks have collectively lagged the broader market for two consecutive years. Will 2013 be different? In this three part series, Morningstar columnist Sonita Horvitch moderates a discussion with a trio of Canadian small-cap managers — Stephen Arpin, vice-president at Beutel, Goodman & Co. Ltd., Ted Whitehead, senior managing director and senior portfolio manager at Manulife Asset Management and Martin Ferguson, director and portfolio manager at Calgary-based Mawer Investment Management Ltd. Parts two and three of the roundtable will appear on Wednesday and Friday respectively.
